Ouch! The new James Bond film, Spectre, has been hit with more real-life drama after two of its stunt men were injured in a dramatic, high-speed stunt on Tuesday

According to a report by The Mirror, crew boss Terry Madden was said to have been airlifted to hospital with multiple fractures to his leg.

Another injured crew member was also taken to hospital, but later released.

A spokesman for the movie’s EON Productions yesterday confirmed: 'Two crew members were taken to hospital. One has been released and the other is being treated for a leg fracture.'

Airlifted: Two male crew-members were taken to a local hospital in Innsbruck, Austria, following the crash

A spokesman for the movie’s EON Productions yesterday confirmed: 'Two crew members were taken to hospital. One has been released and the other is being treated for a leg fracture.'

The crash is the latest disaster to hit Spectre since filming began at the end of last year.

Setbacks have included the theft of nine cars, hackers stealing an early version of the script and Daniel Craig, who is portraying Bond for the fourth time, spraining his knee while filming a fight scene at Pinewood Studios in London.

In recent days plans to shoot a funeral scene in a Rome cemetery were scuppered after a Christian confraternity banned the team from filming.

High-intensity: The film frequently sees stuntmen risk life and limb for the famous franchise

According to a source, Bond bosses have got around the issue with the cemetery, which was to be the first Rome location, by agreeing to create a set nearby.

This is a list of the recurring characters and the cast members who portray them in the James Bond film series.

List indicator(s)
  • A dark grey cell indicates the character was not in the film.
  • The following listing only includes recurring characters in the films series. Characters which only appear in one film are not included here.
  • 'M' and 'Q' are MI6 posts, not character names, so a change of actors may reflect an in-universe replacement; this was explicit for M in both GoldenEye (Judi Dench's character is referred to as a newcomer) and Skyfall (Ralph Fiennes' character, Gareth Mallory, replaces Dench's character as M), as well as Q in Die Another Day (John Cleese's character was an assistant to Desmond Llewellyn's Q in The World Is Not Enough). There is only one clear case of a single M, Q or Moneypenny character switching actor: when Q, Major Boothroyd, switches from Peter Burton (Dr. No) to Desmond Llewellyn (From Russia with Love).
