In first divisional round of NFL playoff games, the New Orleans Saints and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off on the gridiron, hoping to advance to the next round and keep their dream of the Super Bowl alive.
The Eagles are coming off a nail-biting victory against the Chicago Bears during the wildcard round. With seconds left, the Eagles led 16-15 and clinched the win after the Bears missed a field goal. As No.1 seed in the NFC, the Saints didn’t play during the wildcard round and Sunday will be their first playoff game.

Who’s Predicted to Win the Game?
The Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl for the 2017 season after defeating the New England Patriots 41-33. During the 2018 regular season, the Eagles won nine games and lost seven. The Saints haven’t won a Super Bowl since 2009, however, they finished first in their division during the 2018 season, winning 13 games and losing only three.
On November 11, the two teams faced off in New Orleans and the Saints blew out the Eagles 48-7. Since that game, Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz sustained a back injury, bringing Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles to lead the team as the quarterback.
When it comes to Sunday’s matchup, Odds Shark predicted the game would favor New Orleans, who would win with 26 points compared to the Eagles' predicted 19 points. Odds Shark also placed the betting line at -9 in favor of the Saints.
A fun fact of the game is that Foles and Saints quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees attended the same high school, Westlake High School, in Austin, Texas, albeit a few years apart.

The winner of the Eagles vs. Saints game will go on to play the winner of the game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Dallas Cowboys, who play on Saturday.
